Keep Waters Clean, Healthy And Safe!
Protect Pets and Kids
On a hot summer day, there's nothing better than jumping into a river to cool off. But fewer and fewer bodies of water are safe to swim in. In the last few years, anti-environmentalists have worked hard to exclude waters from environmental protection laws. Children and dogs are particularly susceptible to accidentally swallowing water while playing, so it is critical that our nation's waters are free from pollution. Currently, more than 60 percent of America's streams, creeks and rivers are in jeopardy, as are tens of millions of acres of wetlands. The Clean Water Restoration Act would force the government to ensure all communities can have safe and healthy waters. We need to let Congress know to stand up for the safety of our families and pets who like to enjoy cool water on a warm summer day! I PERSONALLY HAVE A FRIEND WHO JUST LOST A FAMILY DOG BECAUSE OF THE TRASH UNDER THE IMMEDIATE SURFACE OF THE WATER. POOR ACIE WAS IMPALED ON AN OBJECT THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN THE WATER AND ULTIMATELY DIED OF INFECTION DESPITE THE OWNERS AND VETS BEST EFFORT TO SAVE HIM. THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ANY OF US....WE NEED TO ASSURE THAT OUR WATER IS CLEAN, SAFE AND NOT USED AS DISPOSAL SITES FOR TRASH, ETC.

I agree We should do all We can to clean up Planet Earth. Computers usally have printers; thus, throwing away empty ink cartridges does not make cents ~ cash them in.
